UFC News: Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen Is Confirmed

The SpiderAnderson Silva has been the name on everyone’s lips since his victorious five-round MMA cagefighting destruction over the extremely outclassed Damien Maia during last weekend’s UFC 112 event in Abu Dhabi.

Brock LesnarIn a recent YouTube.com video (posted below), the somewhat controversial UFC cagefighting commentator Joe Rogan weighs in on the ridiculous idea that legendary boxer James Toney, who is a soft 6′0″, 225 pounds and whose prime years came a decade ago, is now calling out the 6′4″, 290-pound beast and current UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar.

In the world of mixed martial arts, specifically the UFC, the world’s best pound-for-pound fighter, Anderson “The Spider” Silva, is also a predator—only of a different sort.

Yet he is one who, not unlike the insect of the same name, also uses traps, feints, and various counter-punching techniques to render his quarry helpless. Read more…
